Oscar Tabarez, coach of the Uruguayan team that won the Copa America, affirmed that he dedicates the fifteenth trophy in the history of his country to the coaches and players that won the fourteen prior ones.
"To me, at the level of football history, there are no unprepared or ingenuous teams and the games are won with football, but the favorite teams left because they did not win, even if it was in penalties," indicated the coach of the country with the most titles in the history of the competition.
"There were no tactical novelties in the Copa because there was a lot of information and before there was not. We knew how they all played and they also knew us," added Tabarez, who said that this title does not guarantee anything for the 2014 qualifiers.
