The Uruguayan player Diego Forlan was happy after winning the Copa America title that also his dad and grandfather won, "the last name will remain in the memory of this Copa America."

The forward was referring to how his maternal grandfather Juan Carlos Corazo, and his father, Pablo Forlan who played for Penarol in Montevideo have also won with the national team.

Regarding the match, Forlan said that the goal that came so early "coincided so well with the match" but that it was also a difficult match.

"Uruguay recovered well after the effort of the semifinals," finalized the Atletico de Madrid player.

Uruguay, who defeated Paraguay 3-0 in the final, won its fifteenth title, overcoming Argentina.
