Luis Suarez, who scored the winning goal against Paraguay, was named the best player of the tournament.
The Uruguayan captain, Diego Lugano, was given the Copa America Fair Play Award. Lugano also received the award for best defender.
Sebastian Coates brought another award for Uruguay as he won the young player of the tournament award.
Paraguay did not go home empty handed as Justo Villar of Paraguay was named the tournament's best goalkeeper.
Paolo Guerrero finished out the awards as the tournament's top goal scorer, lead in large part by the hat trick against Venezuela in the third place match.
With the win, Uruguay is officially the top winner in South America with 15 Copa Americas.
