The Canadian women's gymnastics team has qualified for the London Olympics.

Canada's score of 221.913 points was the highest of the first five teams in qualifying Wednesday, guaranteeing it will get one of the four spots available at the test event at the O2 Arena. France is second with 220.744 points, followed by Belgium with 216.863, Spain with 213.054 and the Netherlands with 212.061.

Italy, South Korea and Brazil compete later Wednesday.

The United States, Russia, China, Romania, Japan, Australia, Germany and Britain have already earned spots in the 12-team Olympic field, qualifying at last year's world gymnastics championships.
