Jamaican track star Usain Bolt, who is a three-time world champion and Olympian in the 100, 200, and 4x100 meter events, wants to break his own world record of 9.58 in the 100 meters.

That's what he is aiming for at the upcoming Daegu 2011 IAAF World Championships in South Korea.

"I know that it's easier said than done, but I think that my 9.58 seconds can be beat, it's just a matter of being fast. It would be perfect to win the title again with a new record at the Worlds in August in Korea," Bolt said in an interview published Wednesday by the Italian newspaper "La Repubblica."

Bolt could have become a victim of his own success. He has broken his own records six times in the last two years. He admitted sometimes he feels "condemned" to have to fight to break his previous results, because that is what people pay to see him do.

"I'm condemned to always having to break records, because if I don't, then the people who come see me will feel robbed," the 25 year-old said.

Although life has changed for the world's biggest track star, Bolt says he still enjoys using and showcasing his talents.

"It's a sacrifice but I also feel rewarded. Running is no longer just a game for me, but it's still a beautiful thing. Even with all the obligations that come with it."
