About the sport

Two teams will 11 players each, a ball and the use of any part of the body except the hands and arms. The objective is to score goals and avoid conceding them. This is the basic concept of soccer, the most popular sport in the world.

In the men’s competition, only U-23 teams with three “reinforcements” above that age can participate. Great Britain, Hungary, and the US are the top medalists with three medals each.
